This position will be responsible for product development for Asean and South Pacific Markets including innovation, sugar reduction, productivity and business continuity projects and other technical trouble shootings for Plants. The position will also cover consumer research and competitor understanding study in ASP markets to design & develop consumer winning beverage solution.

Individual contributor that works independently and can handle multiple tasks in dynamic environments under very limited supervision; applies subject matter knowledge; requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge and good communication skill to build connecting to ASP OU and APAC R&D.- Runs product development projects assigned by line manager. Produce and develop new beverages (Sparkling, Juice, Hydration, Dairy, Coffee, Tea and Frozen) or adapt existing formula as described in the accepted work practices and approved documentation processes
- Drive Renew Category Growth plan come out and comply with guideline and lead the resource and prioritization discussion between BU and R&D.
- Drive RCG during NPD process and plan execution in different BUs. Cascade global requirement and drive formula harmonization and project combination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contributing to product development from idea generation to formula finalization through close discussion and alignment with Customers, Technical and Customer Management/Marketing team, R&D category leads and all other stakeholders.
- Develop prototypes and manage all necessary evaluations and reports relevant to product design and specifications independently
- Has a broad overview of key stakeholders and is aware of components of value chain.
- Responsible to deliver agreed tasked (Time & Quality)
- Leverages prior experience, education, suppliers and literature to innovate within scope of briefs provided by other technical experts or supervisor
- Conduct production trials at pilot and plant scale, and evaluate product stability
- Participate in a commercialization scale test at manufacturing line with QA and TI&O team if needed
- Lead project meetings within the category, cross-functionally with marketing, customer management or technical groups
- Sharing Knowledge and collaboration across system.
- Ensure effective documentation related to Stability Testing, Analytical data, Formulation in Picasso, Ingredients and Specifications.
- Ensure priorities are handled effectively by modifying plans and actions in own area of accountability
- Provide support to ensure all local regulatory requirements in every aspect of Product formulation.
Participating in consumer study and market analysis to build Asean consumer insights and competitor landscape understanding for R&D
Coordinating and Conducting technical training for Asean BU and CPS
Education Requirements and Work Experiences
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree (depending on the experience) in Science, Food Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of professional working experience in R&D, technical function in food industries including food ingredient suppliers or other FMCG industries.
- Travel Requirements: 10-20%, including trial run, business meeting, seminar etc.
